Well hello friends. I am finally back after all this time without writing on this blog. Alot has been going on in my life, good and bad - It rains on the just as well as the unjust. I was able to visit several of my dear friends who have exited NJ. Good going guys. I travelled to TN, NC and DE. It was great, but it also felt good to enter my own front door at the end. I guess as the saying goes "There is no place like home." even though we find ourselves complaining at times. Hey, in this time in our country - Praise God that I have a roof over my head, heat in my house, hot water, and a toilet. Also, there is food on our table and a comfortable place to lay my head. How much we take for granted until it is stripped away from us.
I am back learning a new song in sign "The Lord's Prayer". It is just so beautiful to sign. We will be signing on Sunday, November 21 at both the 8:15 am and 11 am services. All are always welcome at Emmanuel Community Church, Wheaton Ave, Bayville, N.J. Please don't hesitate to come through our doors.
The holidays are approaching and this is a very difficult time for people suffering from major depression, bipolar depression, etc. You just want to stay in bed until January 2nd don't you. I hear you. For a Christian, Praise God, we know that special week will pass with all the glitter, carols and gaity, and we can Celebrate Jesus every day of the year without all that glitter. I think why there is so much pain during the holidays is that there is such a contrast between what is going on inside of you with what is going on outside all around you. That pain within just intensifies, doesn't it. Please check out some of my links which could be helpful to you in handling this time of year.
Well, I will end for today. Hopefully, I will write again shortly.
God bless you my reader and thanks for dropping by.
