Well, we have a cool spell, 85 degrees and somewhat cloudy with a slight breeze. Not bad after 106 yesterday. Spent most of the morning trying to fix all the problems I had with my blog site yesterday. I don't know what I did Linda but I kept trying things and figure out something I had done wrong. So, we are now up and running. But I still don't know how to put gadgets in different places on my blog instead of in a straight column along side of post. Any suggestions on that? I want to get out for a 20 minute walk right now before the temp starts to climb again this afternoon. Even in this drought people are still flicking their cigarettes out their car windows or while they are walking along all the dry yards they pass. There is still smoke lingering in the air from area fires this week. I am on the mend from my surgery and want to call the doctor today to see if I can now go into the pool or ocean. Hope so. I still can't find a medium size dog which I check everyday on petfinder and local shelters. It has been over 2 months since we put down our precious Princess. I miss her so much. Now, I want to adopt another deserving dog who would be just the perfect match for us. I've asked the Lord to find us just the right one, as He has done twice before. I just need to be patient. I want a dog NOW. Vince wants to wait until we get back from our 2 week Oct vacation. Seems reasonable considering the kennel costs and I would hate to just adopt a dog and then have to place it right back into a kennel. It may feel like a shelter again. Like someone said yesterday, October is really not that far away. I didn't like hearing that because I wait 3 seasons just to get to summer and it is gone in about 10 weeks. Linda, if you are reading this today - I MISS YOU MY FOREVER FRIEND!!!!! Well, I have to take my walk before I don't do it at all.
